i did first and second grade recess duty yesterday and today. we have several para-educators out sick, so we needed coverage. it was a nice day (a little cold, but i brought a hat today. the kids are good and there weren't too many problems (although the para i was on duty with is a problem). i am just glad i don't have to do it every day.

When I was growing up back in the old days, the teachers always had to do recess duty. Poor things! I'm glad you don't have to do that all the time....you deserve a break!
I'm glad too! I don't know if I'd want to do that everyday, especially when its cold!
I was running across a field of crusty snow to keep two kindergartners from beating each other with sticks yesterday...I feel your pain!
