  • another weekend nearly gone (yes, I feel this way at 9:00 am on a Sunday) and I haven't even opened my school bag.  Report cards are going home on Thursday, and I haven't done anything yet.  I have to write a letter about the trimester a comments on each kid, on top of doing the grade.  I am glad I am not a classroom teacher, I only have to do 10.  Some of them have to do up to 35, between their 20 classroom kids and up to 15 literacy kids!

On an up note, our theater company has another murder mystery today (we did one last week).  They are paying us $500!  It is sure to be interesting.

And even better!  The snow is melting away from our yard.  It may actually be spring again someday soon.

  • I do believe you're right about that spring thing....I have bulbs beginning to sprout...despite snow flurries.    Hope you have a great week.

  • If it makes you feel any better, I have to fill out report cards (including comments) for 170 kids.  Ah, the joy of being a specials teacher.

Now we may be getting a snow day Wednesday...  :(   I did spy some snowdrops coming up on Windham Hill, though.  So keep thinking spring!
