  • Another
Fourth of July.  We spent the morning (during the parade) selling
left overs from the concert last night.  Mid-day was spent at “the
pool” eating lunch and seeing folks.  Afternoon and evening in the
yard, hauling sand, making level(ish) marks, laughing at stupid things
and weeding.  Now we are in the house, not willing to brave the
crowd at the park, waiting for the fireworks, so we can see if we can
see them from our house.  Mom is being adventurous and going to
the area outside the park to sell the rest of our
red, white, and blue glow sticks.
We have about 75 left out of 400.  She is so brave.  I just
had a kick in the stomach (you don’t really need the truth), so I am
just going to lay low.  I bet she could sell them in the 30
minutes before the fireworks start.  There will be 1000s of people
in the park, but there will be 100s outside.  Someone (the chamber
or someone) is going to be selling single colored ones inside, so she
    can’t go there.
